MCGS Spring Workshop March 23, 2024

Our online Spring Workshop will feature speakers from four nearby archives; Maryland State Archives, New York City Archives, Pennsylvania State Archives, and the Library of Virginia. The speakers will discuss their holdings, in-person and online records and how to access those records.

The cost for the workshop is $15.00 for members, $20.00 for non-members or $30.00 for non-members, who join MCGS they will receive workshop cost as a member plus a discount of $10 on a one year membership

The presenters are: Kenneth Cobb, Assistant Commissioner NYC Department Records, and Information Services; Brett Reigh, Archivist, Pennsylvania State Archives; Danielle Smith, Reference Archivist, Maryland State Archives; Ashley Craig, Community Engagement and Partnership Specialist, Library of Virginia

Workshop will begin at 9 a.m. eastern and each program will run about 45-50 minutes with questions to follow.

Registration closes on Wednesday, March 20. The meeting link and handouts will be emailed on Friday, March 22.
